Happy Labour Day!

Well apparently from what i heard, there's labour day here as well. But they name it bank holiday. And its supposed to be on the 1st of May, like in Singapore, but they push it back to the following monday. So it stretches for a longer weekend. Amazing huh. Unlike in Singapore where today you don't have to work and tomorrow you do. And the day after that is the weekend.

Ahh well. This is the U.K. So i guess things work differently around here.

Today was pretty much the same thing as yesterday. Had lunch at the cafeteria, consisting of rice (which was quite hard) and curry chicken. It wasn't even spicy. But it was alright i guess. The lunch today was better than yesterday. But it costs me 3.50 pounds. And i also had Hot Chocolate from the vending machine for 30 pence. It was really good. Yummy. Shall have another cup tomorrow.

Oh yea. A bottle of coke costs around 90 pence here? So that works out to be S$2.50? Thats quite expensive ya? Ahh well. I guess i'm not having fizzy drinks here. Actually. I haven't touched fizzy drinks here at all. Wow healthy living.

Thankfully the calculations and sketching of the turbine blades ended quite early today, at around 4.40pm? So managed to get back home quite early.

The weather today is WONDERFUL. Its bright and sunny. But it isn't hot like in Singapore under this kinda Sun. Its still colder. But comfortable cold. So yea. Great weather. I heard this doesn't come by often anyways.

Wonder what Donato's gonna fix up for dinner...
